In these uncertain times, we know it may not always be possible to offer employment opportunities, don’t worry! There are many other ways you can get involved and go the extra mile.
Pro Bono
Does your business provide services or goods that DA victims/survivors could benefit from? We would be happy to explore some options with you, here are just some examples of how you can help:
Perhaps you are a law firm that can provide free legal advice?
A financial firm or bank that can assist with setting up an account or access to budgeting advice or tools?
A retail company that can donate items to support women and children in a refuge or safe accommodation?
An IT company that can provide refurbished devices to help women take courses online or apply for jobs?
A gym that can provide access to free fitness or wellbeing classes?
If you would like to discuss how your company could provide pro bono support, please contact us.
Fundraising
Whether it’s a quiz night, a bake sale, a sponsored walk or a marathon, we would love to hear from you. If you are interested in helping to raise much needed funds to support women affected by abuse, get in touch as we would love to hear your ideas.
Volunteering
Volunteering to support the goals of EDAC is hugely rewarding and helps women affected by abuse to rebuild their lives. We are always on the lookout for highly skilled and committed individuals to be part of our dynamic team. If you would like to get involved with our work, please contact us.
