VAWG Board Manager
Location: 5 Pancras Square, London, N1C 4AG
Hours: 36
Salary: £37,638
Planned start date: TBC – January subject to recruitment
You will be part of the Council’s work on domestic abuse.
We are at a pivotal part of our work on domestic violence and abuse – we have made great progress in this already, but we have more work to do. You will be supported and surrounded by like-minded colleagues with a shared purpose. As the main contact for the newly established VAWG Board, you will work with organisations across Camden to improve the response to VAWG and shape the development of this vital and politically important board. You will work closely with elected members and senior officers to manage the board. You will have strong administration skills as you will be required to manage all aspects of organising the board meetings. However, this is more than an administrative role and will require good strategic thinking too.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and will require an Enhanced DBS.
