Contracts Manager

Location: England, Surrey, Kingston upon Thames
Hours: Full-time role working Monday to Friday
Salary: Negotiable
Planned start date: ASAP

To manage a number of contracts circa £15m ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and with high levels of client and resident satisfaction. To run the contract from handover to completion (completion of Defects Liability Period), including preparation and monitoring of the SHEQ and CP Plans. To take control of all Health and Safety aspects, including; fire risk assessment plan, traffic management plan and project risk assessments. To be responsible for ensuring projects are adequately resourced to be managed safely, whilst maximising efficiency. To understand, implement and adhere to the company SHEQ policy/strategy and ensure all employees reporting to you do the same and being responsible for ensuring that SHEQ requirements are upheld to the highest of standards at all times.

Required;

Eperience:

  • 5 years proven experience as a Site Manager
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of building legislation
  • Understanding of local government
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Confident oral and written communication skills
  • Financial and commercial awareness
  • Communicate effectively with all those who have a stake in the work
  • Effectively manage time in order to meet deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate and influence
  • Mentor and support others and the ability to manage a team
  • MS Project/Asta programmes
