Accommodation Housekeeper
Hours: 20 per week (4 hours over 5 days, or 5 hours over 4 days)
Salary: £24,570 per annum Pro rata

Are you an experienced cleaner or housekeeper, looking for a new challenge where you can make a difference to the lives of those affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence?
We are looking for a Housekeeper to work across our refuges and portfolio of dispersed properties in Keighley and Bradford, supporting the Accommodation Team and creating a welcoming environment for our clients.
About the role – Keighley based
As the Accommodation Housekeeper, you will work across the accommodation service, under the support and guidance of the Housing & Maintenance Team Lead. You will support the team in providing the best possible experience to individuals and families staying in our temporary accommodation as a result of becoming homeless due to Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence.
As well as maintaining professional high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, you will be efficient in turning around units for re-let in good time. As a Housekeeper, you will also have broader duties of ensuring the accommodation and communal spaces are comfortable, warm and welcoming. You will work with the Housing & Maintenance team to support the Health & Safety checks and reporting of repairs and safety hazards to ensure the buildings are safe and fit for purpose. You will also have responsibility for maintaining inventory and ordering cleaning materials and replenishing stock as needed.
Part time, 20 hours per week, over 4 days Monday to Friday. £24,570 FTE per annum, £12.60 per hour. Keighley based.
About you
You will have experience of cleaning in a professional capacity, ideally on site in organisations that support children and/or vulnerable adults. You will have excellent communication skills and have a professional and friendly approach. You will be able to work on you own initiative, demonstrate resilience and be able to work under pressure to achieve positive outcomes for our clients. You will be non-judgmental and be able to demonstrate a commitment to equal opportunities. This post involves primarily working across two sites in the Keighley area, and multiple sites as needed within the Bradford District.
