The role
In this role you will need to support the Corporate Performance & Planning Manager in developing an effective performance management framework, aligning performance reporting from various internal teams you will also need to assist with the delivery of our performance reporting assurance processes and policy review activities. This is a part time position for 21.75 hours per week with a part time salary of £17,282 – £19,005.
This role is part of Corporate Services where you’ll help us give colleagues the support they need to be brilliant.
What you’ll achieve
You will work with the Head of Policy & Standards and Corporate Performance & Planning Managers that annual corporate planning cycle key dates are planned and met and produce timely and accurate narrative performance reports and presentations.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Support plans to ensure Orbit is operationally ready for any regulatory changes
- Coordinate and project manage the production of corporate plans and annual reports
- Assist the Corporate Performance & Planning Manager in delivering an effect performance management framework
- Work with both the Policy & Standards and Corporate Planning Teams to deliver Orbit’s KPI and Policy assurance activities
- Be the first point of contact for operational teams in reviewing their KPI definitions, targets and tolerances
- Regularly review the presentation and formatting of management information reports
What you’ll bring
To be successful in this role of Corporate Planning Officer you will need to be an excellent communicator and have proven experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will need to be self motivated and have the ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
Essential skills
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and database systems
- A level standard or equivalent in English and Maths
- To be able to analyse and interpret performance management data
- Experience presenting conclusions and recommendations to key stakeholders
- First class organisational skills
